Golden Gate Chinese Takeaway

I’ve been ordering takeaway from Golden Gate for years, and they never disappoint me. Today we decided to dine-in here, the food is outstanding and the service was excellent. Our favorite dishes are chicken with veggie, thai fried rice, and honey king prawns. Great value for money. Definitely one of the best Chinese takeaways around!

Not a massive fan of Chinese but had been recommended to try this place out. As other guests have pointed out BYO (nice bonus) and small. The chef team was great. It was a quiet Tuesday night so not sure how service would be when its the weekend (maybe they get in other staff). We had a fab time. Food non-greasy and really tasty, service very good and we had a nice chat with owner when paying the bill. Good value. Will be back.

Ordered take away chicken n cashew & fried rice. Standard pricing, great food. The waiting area was quite warm with the evening sun streaming through & was moreso set up for takeaway as opposed to a dining area.

You feel like you're sitting in someone's living room, being cooked authentic home cooked chinese food - Chef is warm, friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding, the fish fragrant aubergine is one of my all time favourite dishes. The small menu ensures every dish is excellent - the calamari is melt in the mouth. Highly recommend.

Popular among locals and the food is delicious. Food was delivered to the table promptly and the serving sizes are good. A dish could be shared beteren 2-3 people. Prices are reasonable too.
